Touring Buenos Aires

I took a tour through residential BA and then to Tigre City to board a boat and cruise the Parana River. The river was fascinating. We circled several islands, all lined with river front homes, .some of the homes were modest, some certainly more upscale, but most had yards under water as the river was running full. A good tour, but, as most tours, an hour bus ride each way.

We sailed at 5 PM. We’ll traverse the broad delta of Rio Plata. The river actually should be called Rio Rojo, as sediment from it’s flow gives it a reddish color. As we pulled away from the pier, an appetizer plate was delivered to my suite. Lobster claws! They went well with Champagne. I am going to be so spoiled.
